My name is Andrea Cohen. I am Fredrick Tyrone Merida’s girlfriend. As we were boarding an airplane to come home from a cruise in London, Fredrick collapsed and is now on life support. We are in London and he is on a ventilator. His medical bills and air vac back to the United States are going to be extremely high. He is in critical condition. Please do what you can to help us alleviate this enormous expense we are going to incur. Anything will help, and please share this with others. Please pray for him and his loved ones too.

tyrone is off the ventilator and breathing on his own. He is still unable to speak due to his throat being raw from all the tubes that he’s had. They are going to move him from ICU to a renal ward today. It is 10:19 AM at this moment and I will be heading to the hospital soon.

1:57. 10/4/2025

Needs to go to a neurological hospital for an MRI. Could need surgery or a medication intervention. Only the MRI will tell. Hopefully not, but if he needs surgery, he will remain at the hospital. If not, he will return back to hammersmith hospital.

October 8. We are still not out of the woods. Still needs a lot of oxygen, has pneumonia and a possible blood infection. Trying to figure out out where it is coming from. Please continue to support his go fund me and keep us in your prayers

friday 10/10

tyron is still in ICU. He requires 35% oxygen. It was at 50, so he’s requiring less oxygen. He is still in pain due to the ribs being broken. He’s gotten an infection from the foreign tubes that have been in his body body. They removed the old ones and replaced them with new ones. I can tell a little difference of his improvement. The doctor said it will be at least another two weeks.

October 12

fredrick is off O2. Unfortunately I have a cold so I am unable to visit him today. I have taken Thera flu that I brought with me . There is a pharmacy across the street.

yesterday was the first day he could speak. Now that he is off oxygen. He will be going back to the other hospital which is a renal hospital possibly tomorrow or the very near future.

he is eating and sat up today!! We are almost home!!!
