On Friday night, our dad was involved in a serious car accident that has completely changed our family’s lives.

He suffered a broken back, a traumatic brain injury with brain damage, and a long list of other serious injuries. He has remained unconscious since the accident Friday night and is currently hospitalized, facing an incredibly long and uncertain road ahead.

The doctors have told us that they are still unsure what his recovery will look like. At this point, they anticipate that he could be in the hospital for at least 6 months to a year, and we simply don’t know what the future holds for him.

While our family focuses on being there for my dad and helping him through this, the bills and responsibilities of everyday life don’t stop. He has rent, utilities, medical and personal expenses, and other bills that will continue while he is unable to work or care for himself.

We are starting this fundraiser to help take some of that financial burden off of our family during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time. The funds raised will help keep his home and utilities maintained, help with expenses related to his recovery, and make sure he has what he needs throughout this long journey.

Our family has a very long road ahead of us, and right now we are taking things one day, one prayer, and one step at a time.

If you are able to donate, any amount would mean so much to our family. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser and praying for my dad is just as meaningful to us.

Please keep my dad in your prayers—for healing, for his brain and body to recover, for his medical team, and for strength for our entire family. We are praying for a miracle and believing that God is with him through every moment of this. ❤️
