Frederick's Memorial: Brave Battle Against Cancer
Donation protected
At AfricanExpats, our mission is to support families during their most challenging times. Today, we share the heartfelt story of Frederick Kiiru Kamau.
In late 2023, Frederick was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Despite having Medicare, the mounting costs of chemotherapy and outpatient treatments quickly overwhelmed his family. The doctors estimated he had only 6 to 8 months to live, yet Frederick fought with unwavering resilience and hope.
Tragically, in December 2024, his condition worsened, and by January 2025, the cancer had spread to his brain. After a long and courageous battle, Frederick peacefully transitioned on March 22nd.
Now, his family is striving to honor his memory with a dignified farewell. However, the financial strain from his prolonged illness and the high costs of funerals have placed an immense burden on them. We are asking for your compassionate support to help ease this burden and give Frederick the send-off he deserves.
Your generous donation, no matter the amount, will not only help cover the funeral expenses but also serve as a tribute to Frederick’s strength and legacy. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time and for helping to bring a measure of comfort to his grieving family.
