Hi, my name is Sandy. I have the best puppy (well, he’s actually 12) in the whole world. His name is Freddy Mercury Rolin. He is the love ❤️ of my life. He has stolen my heart, and it breaks my heart I can’t afford a surgery he urgently needs pretty soon.

This puppy of mine has a cardiologist he sees every couple of months. I save ahead of time for each visit because it costs a grand (easily) each time. He has a leaky heart valve, which has caused his heart to enlarge, leaving him little room to breathe. It’s hard to watch when he tries to yawn and ends up gasping for air, not knowing what’s going on inside.

This beautiful boy is always happy to see his mom when she comes home from work every day. He is my joy. I can’t imagine my life without him (even knowing it will happen one day). He has developed a kidney stone that has grown despite the CD Kidney food he’s been on for almost a year. His cardiologist and vet both agree the stone needs to be removed soon, while he can still withstand the surgery.

A friend told me about this GoFundMe platform. I remember receiving a request via email from an old friend from high school. Her service dog needed surgery. I had extra money at the time, so I gladly sent $200. Within a couple of weeks, I got a phone call thanking me for my donation. She said her dog received surgery and was doing great. I never thought in a million years I would be in the same boat a couple of years later.

I am not one to ask for anything for myself. But my parents have long passed, and, well, I have nowhere else to go. Anything you can spare will be a blessing for my baby Freddy. It kills me I can’t pay for this for him myself. Everyone needs help sometime in their life. This is mine.
