I'm a concerned pet owner/parent looking for assistance to ensure my dog Freddy can get the medical help he needs for a possible spreading infection that has started in a tooth. I have looked up an estimate of expenses to look like the following...
Exam fee: $50–$100
Basic antibiotics & pain meds: $40–$120
Dental x-rays: $80–$150
Tooth extraction: $300–$1,000+ depending on complexity (front teeth are usually cheaper than molars)
Blood work (if infection suspected): $100–$200
This is why I chose the goal I did because the price isn't set in stone or officially declared yet. This little guy means the world to me and has saved my life. He is a corgi pushing over 10-11 years old. We're not sure as his previous owners passed away. He's seen quite a bit for a little dog that no one should ever see but he's made strides in the anxiety it seemed to have cause him. Now we just worry about his health and his teeth have been making it increasingly difficult for him to eat.
I appreciate every little bit, it all counts toward the little guy getting a clean bill of health. You will be updated on the process as of now we are awaiting the first appointment and I'm concerned they may ask me to pay on the spot.
