Hi everyone. I’m Freddy’s brother. Akeem. The closest to him out of five. It’s been a long road we’ve had struggling with Freddy’s health as I’m sure you all know. Ever since we found out of his condition at 7 years old. Countless trips to and from the hospital. Witnessing him in so much pain yet still managing to stay strong and pull through to bring us all joy once again. I can’t image the number of lives he’s touched with his loving heart. He was well known by so many in this community. You had to love him. All he wanted was to give and show love and put some nice shoes on your feet. He gave with all his heart and with genuine love. That’s just who he is. Even on his worst days he would give you his last and figure out the rest later. I wish he wasn’t so selfless sometimes.
His family is raising money for his funeral expenses and memorial. This is truly devastating and heartbreaking to think this is even real. Sadly he is with all of us forever now. So let’s do right by him, come together and send him off in style. Anything for him will help. If you know him, you know what he would have wanted. Thank you all for bringing a smile to his face and so much joy in the time we’ve had him. He will be deeply missed.
