Freddie’s CHSF fundraiser

In December 2023, after a battle with sepsis, we found out that at just 3 months old, Freddie had a hole in his heart (VSD) and would need surgery.
On 27th June 2024, Freddie finally had his surgery to repair his VSD. He was healing incredible and just 4 days post op, he was able to come home. 2 hours before we were due to come home, Freddie suffered from a clonic tonic seizure. He then went on to have 2 more. We have found out that he has had multiple strokes causing these seizures.
We are still on the road to recovery but he is doing such an incredible job and as a family, we couldn’t be any prouder of him. His big sister Gracie has been amazing throughout it all and at one point was the only person that could make Freddie smile!
The CHSF helped us in more ways than you can imagine. From finding us accommodation so we could stay close, to food vouchers and funding days out with Gracie. The emotional support was well needed and they have played a huge part in our recovery.
As a family, we want to raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity and to begin with we're taking part in Superhero Walk on Sunday 8th September for Children's Heart Surgery Fund.
Thank you.
