Freddie's log: I  was lucky enough to be loved and cared for by foster mom Jen of Kit Kat Playroom, growing into a happy healthy boy! She took such amazing care of me and my brothers, we were known as the Soda Pop Boys. All three of us were born with a congenital defect called eyelid agenisis, which means our eyes look funny and our beautiful lashes grow into our eyes, which was very uncomfortable. I was also born with ocular dermoids, extra skin near and on my eyes. And my nose, which it's so uniquely awesome.  Foster mom Jen got me and my brothers all fixed up at the fancy cat eye doctor, and took care of us after surgery when we had to wear funny cones  in our heads. The doctor didn't think I'd ever need any other eye surgeries, and off I went to my forever home! I have a wonderful doggy brother and sister and TWO kitty sisters! My human loves me so so much and gives me yummy food, and fun toys, four boxes for me to do my business in, and hugs and kisses all the time! Unfortunately, despite what an amazing job foster mom Jen did, and how loved I am by my siblings and my person, my eyes have started bothering me again. Specifically, my left eye. The dermoid in the corner has kept growing and it's hard for me to close my eye all the way and there are hairs growing out of it into my eyeball causing me pain. My new eye doctor says I need to have the dermoid removed, the eyelid fixed up, and my lashes cryogenically frozen off. This all costs a lot of money, $1,500 of money! I am happy to give my toy hoard and Churus to the doctor to pay but I'm told humans don't like those as much as I do. So if folks could help out my human with my surgery for my new fancy eyeball I'd be very grateful! Every little bit helps! And any leftovers would go to my foster mom at Kit Kat Playroom.  Thanks for reading my longest Freddie's log yet!
