Freddie Freckle's orthopedic surgery

Hello, welcome to Ozzi Hearts 4 Paws Rescue!

We have in our care 'Freddie Freckle' a 10 month old Shih Tzu.

Freddie was born with 'angular limb deformity' which is commonly seen in Shih Tzu's.

Freddie is on pain relief daily, which assists with his pain, however, he still has a persistent limp.

Both front legs will require surgery but we will operate on the leg that affects him the most first.

Surgery per leg is $5,000 and will result on strict recovery afterwards. Freddie's recovery will be in the best of hands with one of our veterinary nurse foster carers.

Below is an x-ray of Freddie's front legs. As you can see the bones are bowed. This is an abnormality for the majority of breeds, but unfortunately is the reality for Shih Tzus.

Any dollar that can be spared for Freddie's cause is greatly appreciated and can be claimed on tax.
