Fred Sornoso your Friendly Neighbor & Councilman

Fred Sornoso, Councilman for Monterey Park District 3 went home to be with The Lord on the morning of July 8, 2022.

Fred was characterized by his friendly smile, huge heart and being a colossal Dodgers Fan. I can inform you that he was able to root for the Dodgers against the Cubs in his final hours.

He loved his family so much and was a great son, brother, nephew and an awesome neighbor.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Alice and Fidel Sornoso, his sister Christine, his family and all the neighbors he smiled at during his daily walks.

I’m making a Gofundme account to help his parents cover funeral and medical expenses so that they don’t have to worry about that right now.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Fred along the way; it is so special to see how many people loved our Friendly Fred. He was truly a kind person and amazing man.
