Freds watch is over he passed away late last night 4 16 2025

I think it shows how he works hard and plays hard



He always said his biggest goal before he died was to have grandchildren. He told me that he's okay with passing because he's done all that he's ever wanted to do that matters.

First and foremost, Fred is a man of faith, a man of God, and a family man. My name is CJ Burris. I am starting a GoFundMe for my dear friend Fred Selby, 52 years old, who I have known for over 25 years. Fred has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colorectal cancer. Fred is a larger-than-life kind of guy. When he puts his mind to anything, he can accomplish it. He has climbed Mt. Rainier, he is a professional rock climber, learned to fly helicopters, can build a home/log cabin, and is a successful businessman and real estate salesman. He has been a scoutmaster and loves working with kids. Fred is a family man. He and his wife have 9 children and 11 grandchildren. He is a man of faith, great courage, and one of the strongest men I have ever met, physically, mentally, and emotionally. This was sudden and no one was prepared for this.

He is dealing with pain and this last round of chemo is leaving him weak and tired. The cancer has metastasized to his liver.

It's been a difficult time. He is fighting thru this illness, also having to fight the insurance companies.
