In May 2023, Fred was diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer involving five lymph nodes and both tonsils. He will be undergoing an aggressive seven-week treatment of chemotherapy and radiation alongside several other procedures; the prescribed treatment has an 80-90% survival rate with several side effects from which he will be recovering for months after treatment. Some of these side effects may be permanent and Fred needs all the support he can get—both emotionally and financially—as his life will be put on hold until he completes and recovers from this condition, which we are confident he will!

We are asking friends and family to donate any amount they can to help Fred and Shel get through this challenge. Your donation will assist with medical costs as well as living expenses. Fred has a deep love for his family and friends and will be appreciative of any support given.
