Fred Harris Memorial Scholarship
Donation protected
Fred Harris, 35, passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2021. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who will miss his larger than life personality.
Fred was born on November 21, 1985 to adoring parents; Fred and Judy Harris. He grew up in Fraser, MI where he spent most of his childhood rocking that famous Freddie bowl cut. While excelling in academics and athletics, Fred graduated from Fraser High School in 2004. His motivation led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA in Financial Accounting. Following his gradation with honors from Wayne Sate University, Fred’s passion continued through his successful career in corporate lending.
Fred was beloved by everyone who met him; a fantastic son, an incredible brother, and a best friend to many. He could light up any room with his contagious laugh and witty sense of humor. The perfect day for Fred was a day spent on the water surrounded by friends and family with a drink in his hand.
Fred will forever live on in our memories.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to help establish the Fred Harris Memorial Scholarship; an endowment program to support deserving student athletes. In hopes to memorialize and continue one of the many passions that Fred kept near and dear to his heart, the foundation will donate annually to a Fraser student athlete to aid in college expenses.
