In Loving Memory of Fred Dupuy

Hi, my name is Lorraine, I am Fred's daughter-in-law. Anyone who knew Fred knew he had a larger-than-life personality; if he walked into a room, you immediately heard his laughter and distinct voice and felt his happiness. After his stroke in 2012, Fred became a peer mentor for the Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center; a role he valued deeply and enjoyed sharing about with others. He loved and was loved by many. I feel heartbroken to share that Fred passed away this past week. He left this earth too soon.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry, son Daniel, and granddaughter, Eliana. I've created this fund to help his wife and my husband, Daniel, with the cost of his memorial and services.

A message from his wife, Sherry:

Even though Fred looks like a big guy, he has a soft and warm heart. We've been together for 11 years. Every time I leave the house, he always tells me to drive safely. When he has a meal at a restaurant, he always keeps some food to bring home for me.

His smile and his voice are etched deep in my heart; all the things we've been through together are embedded in my heart.
