Fred Cross, "Mumbles", shooting victim, E. Harlem
Fred, "Mumbles" was gunned down on East 112th Street in NYC, as he set up a memorial for a friend who died the day before. The gunman opened fire on a group of local residents. Fred an innocent victim of a senseless crime during which two other men were shot. Fred a life-long resident of East 119th Street, lived with his Aunt Carrie, who raised him and his brother William from childhood after their mother died of cancer. Fred was awaiting his Aunt's expected release from the hospital where she is being treated. He planned on the chance to return her years of care that she had given him. His life was cut short at only 40 years-old. Please help Fred's brother William with burial and final expenses for Fred's unexpected death. Thank you, and God Bless.
