Fr. Doug Lorig's Retirement

"Well done, good and faithful servant."  With these words we give thanks to Fr. Doug for his 32 years of priestly service. 

We thank him for serving with a humble heart, for teaching us to not be overcome by the world's hatred, but to choose love and mercy above all else. 

We thank him for being an example to us, by living his life centered on Christ.

We thank him for dealing with us at our worst moments - when we’re anxious, upset, depressed or angry - and loving us in spite of it.  

Most of all, we thank him for bringing Christ himself into our lives.

For all of this and more, we say "Thank You" by creating this account to allow him to enjoy his retirement in a manner of his choosing.   Fr. Doug will celebrate his last Mass at St. Maria Goretti on November 20th.  Please make your gift by that time.
