Team 2659 is a competitive high school robotics team from Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California. We participate in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition, which is a worldwide robotics competition that includes thousands of teams and hundreds of thousands of students.
From March 7th-March 10th we competed against 66 other robotics teams from around the world in Del Mar, California. Together with our alliance, teams 597 and 1538, we defeated the boss in FIRST Power-Up and captured 1st place at the regional competition. The victory qualified us for the World Championships in Houston, Texas. The World Championships for FIRST Robotics are being held April 17th-22nd.
The GoFundMe we have set up here will help us pay for the $5000 entry fee to World Champioships and offset the costs associated with travel. Anything that you can donate is appreciated and will help immensley.
