Community Minded Personal Trainer Pursuing a Big Step
Hi, I’m Doug. I am a personal trainer in Chicago, IL pursuing a certification from Functional Anatomy Seminars in 1st in Functional Range Conditioning, then Kinstretch and finally will certify to become a Kinstretch provider. After all that is complete, I can help bring the tested movement practice and principles to our wherever I go to help my family and community move better, feel better and live better.
The practical application of the stuff created by Functional Anatomy Seminars is really special. I am 40 yrs old and a former athlete who can tell you a long drawn out story with the aches in my neck, creaks in shoulders, wonky lower back, oddball hips, and screwed up knees. Since the beginning of our Shelter in Place in Chicago, though, I have dedicated 4-6 days a week to free Kinstretch and FRC mobility videos I can find on YouTube and, no joke, I’ve gotten rid of headaches, I’m sleeping well, I’m walking taller and bouncier, and when I’m out on a morning run, then recovering, my FEET are happy.
Needless to say, I’m inspired to continue the work I am doing on me. Even more than that, I’m ready to share it with anyone who wants to invest in moving better and feeling better. The steps to learning are the Functional Anatomy Seminar which I can do online and then the Kinstretch seminar which can be done online, but hopefully would do this in person at end of summer or early fall. Below is the cost of these seminars....
Functional Anatomy Seminar $999
Kinstretch $999
Travel Expenses $$$$
Chicago’s Shelter in Place has reduced my
income by about half and any possibility of pursuing the certifications on my own is kinda down the drain. So I am asking for help and already feeling great about it. For sure it is way better to go on this adventure with others than by myself anyway.
