My name is Jason Tschetter, and I was a victim of cybercrime involving cryptocurrency. The experience left me feeling violated, helpless, and frustrated by the lack of specialized support available to victims like me. It's time we took action to address this growing issue. We are living in 2024 when AI can write a thesis, music, art, romance and create deep fake video's so lifelike that it can fool an audience worldwide. Yet we do not have a Cybercrime Victim Service center, don't you think its time to catch up?
With my partners, we did just that, and created:

Cybercrime is not just an abstract concept; it's a reality that affects millions of people worldwide. In 2020 alone, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center received 791,790 complaints with reported losses exceeding $4.2 billion (FBI IC3 2020 Internet Crime Report). A significant portion of these crimes involved cryptocurrencies which are increasingly being used due to their anonymous nature.
- *In Canada, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) received 90,377 fraud reports involving over $530 million in reported losses in 2022.
- *Equifax reported In the fourth quarter of 2023, identity fraud accounted for a staggering 75.21 per cent of all fraudulent applications across all sectors, marking a significant increase from 64.7 per cent in the previous year.
- *TransUnion survey reported between April to July 2023, 49% of Canadians stated they were targeted by a fraud scheme recently.
All of these statistics are rooted in Cybercrime, Romance Scams, Pig Butcher Scams, Fake FOREX trading Scams, you can barely use a search engine without worrying about cybercriminals gaining access to your personal information.
Despite these alarming statistics, there are few dedicated resources for victims of such cybercrimes. We need a specialized police based service center focused on cybercrime and cryptocurrency frauds that can provide immediate assistance and guidance to victims.
With the help of sponsors and donations like yours, we could turn the tables on international cyber criminals and protect Canadians from losing their life savings and finding there is presently no recourse available to them within Canadian Law enforcement.
Cybercrime Victim Services has been created and is openly aiding cybercrime victims across Canada and has been featured on CTV & Global News.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE?
- As of February 28th 2024 Cybercrime Victim Services has "Successfully" aided the Edmonton City Police in Seizing stolen cryptocurrency for a cybercrime victim in the Edmonton Region.
Your donation would be sponsoring Private Investigators in a whole new role as we become a Police Based Cybercrime Victim Service to supplement the manpower of Law Enforcement so we can make a difference.
This is exactly what Cybercrime Victim Services was designed to do.
