Help Us Fight Back Against Cybercrime – Support Cybercrime Victim Services
Hi, my name is Jason Tschetter, and I’m the founder and lead investigator of Cybercrime Victim Services Canada. But before that, I was a victim—scammed in a sophisticated cryptocurrency fraud. Like so many others, I was left feeling violated, powerless, and completely alone. And that’s exactly why I started this initiative.
Every day, thousands of Canadians fall prey to cybercriminals. From romance scams and pig-butchering schemes to fake crypto investments and identity theft—cybercrime is the fastest-growing threat of our time. And yet… there’s no centralized, specialized support system for victims in Canada.
It’s 2025. AI can write essays, compose music, and generate fake videos so convincing they fool millions—but victims of cybercrime still have nowhere to turn?
It’s time to change that.

Cybercrime Victim Services Canada – A First-of-Its-Kind Civilian Response Unit
We created Cybercrime Victim Services to step into that gap and provide real help to real people—not just reports and statistics.
We’re not just raising awareness—we’re taking action:
✅ Openly worked with Edmonton Police and Homeland Security
✅ Successfully assisted in the seizure and return of stolen cryptocurrency
✅ Featured on Global News & CTV for our pioneering work
The Numbers Are Alarming
- In 2022, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre reported $530M in fraud losses.
- In 2023, 49% of Canadians said they were targeted by a fraud attempt.
- Identity fraud alone accounts for over 75% of fraudulent applications.
And behind every number is a person—a mother, a student, a retiree—left without answers, support, or justice.
What Your Donation Supports
Your support helps fund a civilian-based, boots-on-the-ground victim services unit that works alongside law enforcement to recover stolen assets, support victims, and fight back against cybercrime.
Every donation helps us continue to provide these 6 critical services:
- 1) Mental Health Counselling – Because trauma is real.
- 2) Financial Advocacy – Including taxation and insolvency support.
- 3) Legal Aid Referrals – Access to law firms who understand crypto fraud.
- 4) Cryptocurrency Tracing Investigations – Using tools like Chainalysis.
- 5) Law Enforcement Collaboration – Helping police build stronger cases.
- 6) Private Investigation – Taking action where others can’t.
️ Be Part of the Solution
We’ve proven this works. We’ve helped victims recover stolen cryptocurrency. We’re building a model that could reshape how Canada handles cybercrime. But we can’t do it alone.
Your donation isn’t just support—it’s a stand. It says we won’t let criminals win. It tells victims, “You are not alone.”
Whether it’s $5 or $500, your contribution will directly fund investigations, advocacy, and recovery efforts.
Know Someone Affected?
If you or someone you know has been scammed by a fake crypto platform, romance scam, sextortion, or investment fraud—we’re here. And we can help.
