We are reaching out to you for help with a dear friend, father, son, friend, and buddy, Franz Fleischli.

"Have I ever told you the coffee story?" If you know what this means, then you definitely know Franz. Everyone in the East Village knew Franz in the late 90s; his name was synonymous with music. You could find him checking out the latest and "coolest" bands on any given night. He always welcomed friends to join him in his nightly adventures; Franz was the epitome of a good time. Those late nights rolled right into his days working in A&R at RCA Records, where he signed some of his favorite bands. He shared his love for music with everyone willing to listen.

Whether you met him as Franz or as his alter ego in NY ‘The Revolutionaire’ or in L.A., where he worked for Universal/Strummer Records, we were shocked when in 1998 he was first diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

However, this did not stop Franz; his most significant accomplishment came after his diagnosis, the birth of his talented, beautiful, intelligent, charming daughter Lana.

His love for her is palpable.

Some may not know this, but Franz has been living in multiple nursing and care

facilities for almost 15 years. His medical conditions have worsened and become more complicated over the past decade. In addition to the MS, he was later diagnosed with Epilepsy which, with the MS caused many seizures and led him to lose his memory.

Franz was recently kicked out of the last assisted living center due to

financial reasons and the additional care that is needed to care for him. He has landed at a healthcare facility in Ventura, far from his family, friends, and everything he remembers.

To make matters worse, because Franz is so young, he is not

eligible for specific programs. He is rapidly declining due to multiple levels of uncertainty about how to care for him properly. He cannot speak, walk, or do things most people take for granted daily.

Many avenues for financial assistance throughout the years have been exhausted. The financial burden has taken a toll on his family, and there is an immediate need to find added care.

The funds raised will go directly to hire advocates to assess the current situation and work in Franz’s best interest to help him out of this phase and determine the best course of action.

Seeing someone so full of life and love for his family and friends suffering alone is heartbreaking. We humbly ask you to share this on social media and donate what you can because every dollar counts.
