I write this with a heavy heart. My father-in-law is a great man and no one expected this.

We heard the terrifying words that no one ever wants to hear! Our "loved" one has Cancer. When we got the news, our first thoughts were, how advanced is it? and will he have a fighting chance?. After more test the Oncologist at Scripps Memorial Hospital confirmed "he" has stage 3 throat cancer. Fransisco is in need of aggressive radiation, chemo, and continuous therapy. For the past two weeks he has been under doctors care. An emergency g-tube was placed and trach surgery was done. Once released he can start chemo and will need 24 hour care. We have a long road ahead and with your support we can make sure he has "all that he needs to beat this battle"?

Francisco is a husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, brother, cousin, and is loved by many. He is a fun grandpa, "First one" on the dance floor, Always loves to tell "Stories" and willing to help others.
