For those who don't know, I am still working for Alabare veterans self-build. In summary our section of the charity takes homeless veterans onto the building site, they complete numerous trades through the first 6 months, the second 6 months they chose a trade and work with the sub-contractors on site. We pay for their qualifications and at the end of the year they move into a house on the build and hopefully into work, thus raising their self-esteem. Our site in Ludgershall is a 5 year program and we are just entering year 3. To date we have a 100% strike rate with everyone from years 1 & 2 having been offered a house and work. We are very well supported by #Lovells (The construction company) and #Stonewater housing (the housing association), both are fantastic supporters of the program who we have a great working relationship with. As tools, courses, planning, welfare and other support cost money, I also have great friends and businesses who have been a fantastic support to the build and development of the team to achieve success. #Mindset training (great training), #KVF health and safety consultants (ongoing support), #Forsaken Guardians MCC (chosen charity for the year), #The Royal George PH in Salisbury (we have been their charity for the last 4 months). All of these have given ongoing support in numerous ways.

As part of my ongoing fund raising. I am going to assist the Royal George towards their end of period total by attending a fundraising night on Fri 13th Dec at the Royal George Bedwin St, Salisbury. The night will be a fun Gathering with Karaoke and I will be changing my rugged biker look with having my cherished locks (hair) cut off for charity, the monies goes towards the tools and courses for the team. 3 ½ years of hair growth about to go.
