In September of 2011 I met the most amazing human. I was invited to a social gathering which changed my life forever. I was having a great time with some friends and coworkers and then I was introduced to him… Franklin (MY ANGEL as i call him). We hit it off right away, hung out and started dating right away. Two months later we moved in together. The love we felt (and still feel)for each other was so strong that we decided why not? We tied the knot and got married on May 13th 2015. Everything felt like a fairytale. We were very happy and everything was smooth. Then in August of 2017 everything took a turn for the worst. We had a couple friends over our apartment and since Franklin made some homemade moonshine with his boss at work they decided to taste it, his friends had couple of shots and franklin had 2 shots since he's been never a big drinker. after a period of time his two friends decided to head out but when they got to their car the driver was passing out on the steering wheel and Franklin begged him to get out and stay at our apartment until he was completely good to drive, he then accepted franklin's offer and felt as sleep in our couch but his other friend who at that time had a newborn told Franklin that he needed to get home to his wife and his newborn. Back then Uber was not as popular as they are now and to be honest we did not know much about it, so Franklin decided to take him home because he did not feel drunk. On his way back from dropping off his friend he was pulled over by a state trooper and was given a DUI. Since it was his first DUI Franklin summited an application for ARD (Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition) which was approved by the DA ( District Attorney) office and even paid in full. then the day that he went to show the court that he was approved to take the classes a Assistant from the District Attorney  denied him to entered the classes because he was not a US resident. After 3 years fighting this case and more than 15 attended courts he was offered a plead deal. March 2nd we went to the Northampton Court House to take the deal and Franklin was taken by a US immigration officer without a warrant. Even tho Franklin had a valid Maryland driver license, has paid taxes for over 10 years and filed an application for lawful statues this people did not take the into consideration.

On march 16th at York County Prison (where Franklin is now) he appeared in from of an immigration judge to see if he was able to get a bond but even tho we presented substantial evidence on how hard it is for me (Nathalie Salcedo) to be without Franklin since i have an Anxiety and depression Disorder that has deprived me from driving, being on my own, go to the store, even shower alone in the bathroom he did not took that as enough to let Franklin out on bail.

Im going to be honest i am not writing all this because Franklin is my husband and i feel like i am going to die without him, i am asking for your help to get him out and to pay for the 2 lawyers that we have working on his case, because Franklin is seriously a GREAT human being that likes to help people as much as he can. He's being paying taxes and doing everything by the book and yes! he made a mistake, and trust me he has regretted it since then and it is been hell for us since all of this started. so please HELP US because we really need it and i don't have the kind of money that we need to get him out and to pay for his lawyers to make him a US citizen as the law requires.
