My name is Martha Hodgins, and I am raising money to help my parents, especially my dad, Franklin Jackson. Franklin had to get his leg amputated below the knee on September 4, 2019 due an infection in the bone.

He is in good spirits and is currently in rehab, but it is a stressful time due to the amount of medical bills that are soon to come. Here is a picture of Franklin shortly after the surgery:


My dad owns his own small business in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and so he does not have the best health insurance. On top of that, because of the surgery, he is not able to continue working during his recovery and rehab. With all the medical bills piling up, my parents need all the help they can get.

I love my parents. They have always been there for family and friends doing whatever they could to help. They taught me at a very young age the importance of helping others and giving what you can when you can. I want to give them everything, but I am limited with what I can do as well. They have never been good at asking for help, so I am asking for them.
