Hi everyone! My name is Quincy Kadin and I am a high school student in Los Angeles. This is my first book! Pretty exciting right? Throughout my life, I have had an ongoing battle with mental illness. More specifically, anxiety. This impacted me for as long as I remember. Whether it was in school, friendships, or even at my house, I felt as if I couldn’t push the feeling away. When I was twelve years old, I finally was given the opportunity to go to therapy; an opportunity that has changed my life forever. I was able to push past this mental illness, and start to do the things that I had always wanted to do. But at my worst, I always felt alone. No one in my classes seemed to have been going through the same thing. As I’ve grown older, I realized that that was not true. Many kids go through this. I wrote this book to not only help kids through their anxious moments, but help them realize that everyone has a little bit of this feeling inside them. My goal for this book is to have it in as many underserved elementary schools as possible. For every $20 (my printing cost) you donate I can share a book with a school in need. And you can help support this goal! Please donate to help to give a copy to a school. Thank you!
