Frankie is our amazing 6 year old fawn French Bulldog. He is a rescue that came to live with us around 2 n half years ago. He is amazingly behaved, so soft and friendly (he is scared of his own shadow) and brings so much love and laughter to our family. He is so loyal and adores humans, especially his Dad. In October 2021 Frankie was diagnosed with a high grade kiupel mast cell tumour on his hind foot which is aggressive and has metastasised to his thigh lymph node. He underwent surgery to remove the tumour on his foot but the vet was unable to get clean margins due to where the tumour is on the foot without amputation. And further surgery to remove the lymph node. Frankie completed electrochemotherapy and systemic chemo therapy and got the all clear but was under a strictly monitoring regime. We was able for him to have this treatment due to the help of you guys in fundraising. Without this we wouldn’t have be able to give him the care he needs so a big thank you to you all. This week we have found out that Frankies tumour has unfortunately returned. The specialist have given us a lot of options for treatment which is at a high cost. We are still deciding on which treatment to go with (surgery and chemo is approx 9.7k) As you may know from previous that Frankie is insured on a lifetime insurance plan but they only cover up to 2000k per condition per year which doesn’t cover much as cancer treatment is extremely expensive. His last lost of treatment for the surgeries, chemo, medications and specialist reviews came to approximately £15k. Hence why I am reaching out for your support and help with all my heart. I hate to ask for help but Frankie really needs our help. He is so full of life, he really enjoys life, he is such a happy boy and is still very young. He deserves us to give him the best opportunity he that we can give him. He done so so well last time around. He’s got more fight left in him. Please help! He needs treatment to start asap.
