Frankie Needs Your Support After Attack

My name is Renee and this is my cat Frankie. I got Frankie about 2 years ago to keep him from being taken to the shelter because his owner had died. Frankie was an indoor/outdoor cat and I thought if I kept a tracking collar on him that he would be ok because I could keep an eye on where he was. Well that was a mistake to think that way. I let him out on Sunday morning and noticed he had not came for his hourly check-in so I went to look for him. I found him……he was way up in a tree and I had to climb a very flimsy ladder to get to him and when I got him down I realized something had attacked him. He was very badly injured so I had to rush him to the emergency vet in Asheville (V.E.G). After my plan was put together, in order to save his life I had to come up with $3,500 before they could even help him. Luckily, my mom had a credit card and I got to save his life. Frankie is like my kid and he has 2 best friends that would’ve missed him terribly. That being said, I have to pay that money back. I work part-time and go to school full-time and also clean a few houses. I live from paycheck to paycheck and really need help with this bill. Frankie came home Sunday night and then had to go to his regular vet for an overnight stay due to a high fever and being very dehydrated and not eating or drinking. I will also have 2 more vet visits after this as well as trying to buy a catio for him so this never happens again. I would truly appreciate any help at all. I am paying all of my bills by myself and it is going to make it very hard to pay all of this back and pay the new bills for him. I love my cat and would not be able to live with myself if I just let him die when I could’ve just asked for help. So, ask for help is what I did and what I’m doing!
