Support Frankie and Karl’s World Animated Pilot

Hey everyone! Thank you already for making it this far. You have reached our humble attempt to crowdfund for the marketing and animated portion of Oran Lazar and I’s brainchild (Frankie and Karl’s World). Frankie and Karl’s World is a concept for a TV series about Greek mythology playing out in modern day New York City. Frankie and Karl represent two Greek Gods (Apollo and Zeus) that have had a little too much to drink and or smoke. They are omniscient narrators and are voiced by Oran and I. Oran is 2021 NYU Tisch Film school graduate and I have been working in filmmaking since early 2021. I’m now enrolled in graduate school at NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
The funds raised here will go directly to the costs of fairly paying animators to make our dream come to life. The animated portion of our pilot is short but is time and labor intensive to make in the style we conceived with our collaborators. We will also reserve a portion of funds raised to enter TV and short film competition's. Our participation in these arenas will greatly help Frankie and Karl’s World get noticed.
I deeply appreciate you making it this far into our pitch. We have already shot the majority of the first episode and managed to pay actors out of our limited budget. This would be the final step in making our creation a reality. Any contribution is immensely appreciated. Donations over 50 dollars are eligible for commemorative merchandise handmade by Oran and I.
