mim-two ballets for nonet

I am an American clarinetist and composer living in Nashville, Indiana. My previous work has included "Mosaic", "Siamese Twins", "Something Old, Something New", "Politico" and "Abacus" and the documentary film "Take Two".

For this new recording, I am hiring 8 musicians for two days to record my original music for string quartet and jazz quintet, on August 6, 2019. I am very fortunate to have so many fine musicians agree to this project. It will be one of the few records ever made to combine string quartet and jazz quintet. Your support will allow something new to be added to the short list of recordings that attempt to push the boundries of mixed-discipline music. I will consider my effort a success if it can encourage broader collaboration among artists and possibly inspire young composers to write their hearts out, creating new ensembles, and breaking all the rules for the future.
