Frankers Feel Good Fund

On Saturday, February 24th, my two year old dog Frankie and I spent the day at the Whitewater center, walking with family and friends. On the way home we were rear-ended on I85 North. She was located in the cargo area that took the most damage. I was fortunate enough to find my phone and call my parents who transported Frankie before I was taken to the hospital. She was taken to the Pet ER where she was examined and had x-rays done. She had suffered internal bleeding, a bruised liver, and multiple fractures to her pelvis bone. Her internal bleeding has stabilized and the liver is showing signs of getting better. She currently going into surgery to repair her pelvis. They are concerned about possible nerve damage to the one leg because of the location of the break and may require therapy. I have been told that she should be able to recover but it will be a few long months of healing and physical therapy if all goes well. Any money raised will go to Frankie's vet bills and physical therapy. I have been a mess the last four days not knowing if my pup was ever going to be coming home. She has been my constant in these trying times and I would have been lost without her. Thank you
