Frank Crapanzano is my friend suffering from a life-threatening tumor inside of his spinal cord.  In order to preserve lung and heart function, prevent paralysis and further damage to his nervous system, the tumor must be surgically removed as soon as possible.  Surgery is set for Tuesday, July 14. This tumor type (intramedullary spinal cord ependymoma) is  very rare and difficult to safely remove without causing permanent nerve damage to surrounding, healthy nerves.  With hopes of a successful surgery, he is expected to be off work on a very lengthy recovery.

Frank is a police officer with the River Rouge Police Department, he currently is not provided any health insurance by the department.  Frank is also a single parent to his eight year old son, Rocco.  Due to a costly surgery, he will need assistance with his medical expenses and monthly bills during his recovery.   Any donation, prayers or simply sharing the link would be greatly appreciated.
