This GoFundMe is for my father, Frank Tramer, who on January 22, 2026, passed away peacefully in his sleep. Frank served honorably in the United States Navy for 10 years and served during the Gulf War as a Navy Corpsman. He is survived by his son, Adam Tramer, daughter, Kellie Bittner, granddaughter Cerulea Bittner, his mother Mary Barber, and brother Richard Tramer. As a proud veteran of the US military, his last wish was to be honorably buried at sea by the US Navy, which we hope to fulfill for him.
Frank was a man of few words, but always exampled professionalism, care, strength, and a wit sharper than steel. His willingness to give you the clothes off his back while teaching you to be the best person you can be was exampled through every action he took. Friends and family alike revered him as a man of exemplary honor and dedication at work and at home. Our family was lucky to see him before he passed, but he will be missed dearly as life goes on without him.
To fulfill his last wish, this GoFundMe is to fund the travel expenses to the carrier, the military funeral ceremony of an attended ash scattering at sea, catering for the grieving family, and unknown fees and additional services for the grieving family or unknown processes the USVA will provide for said services. According to the USVA's website, they will be able to schedule his service once they receive his Certificate of Death and other relevant documentation. At this time, there is not an official service date, however, I will update this fundraiser when a definitive service date can be established.
We appreciate your contributions as we navigate through this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who was a part of Frank's life, as it is because of you his time on earth was full of life, happiness, and more than likely a bit of sass.
