Frank the Tank has run into some medical issues this past week that’s made her a celebrity at the local exotic vet. While I agree she should be a world wide name, I would have chosen a different route for her. However, she’s a strong independent girlie so who am I to stop her rise to fame

She had a major surgery & two minor procedures to try to get her in tip top shape. The vet said she’s a strong little lady and has likely been very sick for quite a while. She showed zero signs of illness, just thought in her little lizard brain that pain was the normal way of life.

She isn’t out of the woods yet, but I’m hopeful she will make a full recovery & live the life of pain free fun & fuckery that she deserves. That being said, I’m feeling like Joe Exotic (minus being a bad person) when he hit the world with the “I will never financially recover from this.”

I had no idea this would be so complex and expensive. I know it’s worth it, but holy moly has it made a dent in our financial stability that we’ve worked very hard to achieve. Between the surgery, procedures, medications & follow up visits, our bill is currently sitting at $4,549. I have a bad feeling that this isn’t the end of it.

Frank, Tom & I have been shown so much love and so many people are invested in her progress & recovery. Who knew the internet would love a little beardie this much?

I’m picking up shifts and working about 60 hours a week for the next 6 weeks in an attempt to pay this down, but any financial help would be appreciated. I’ve had a tough time juggling work, sleep & the 24hr care she has been needing to make a full recovery.

The worst part of this—she’s a huge Swiftie & she was too weak to celebrate the engagement with the rest of the world. I can’t wait to tell her the news!
