Frank "The Tank" Brown has been a very special member of CrossFit Route 1 since he joined in 2013. Always friendly, ready to chat, and give a hug, Frank soon became everyone's favorite face to see in class.
And, although he was 68 when he joined, he is always one of the hardest working and most inspiring workout partners, often Rx'ing workouts!!!
In 2017, Frank ranked 1337th in the World for Masters 60+ Men!
A longtime-resident of Saugus, Frank served as a Stoneham fireman for 35 years. He is a warm and doting family-man, who has breakfast dates with his wife every morning, two sons that he loves very much, and one grandson that he adores more than anything.
Today, Frank is fighting Pancreatic Cancer. And, while he may be one of the toughest S.O.B.'s we've ever met, we can all agree that it always feels better going into battle knowing that you have an ARMY behind you.
