Frank Taylor Medical Fund

Update: September 18, 2020

Frank is home! After hundreds of prayers, thousands of hours, and weeks at Sheltering Arms Rehab Facility in Richmond, he has finally returned home; we couldn't be more thrilled.  We also know we are blessed beyond measure.  Without the community of friends we have, this could have never been possible.

Frank is still in for the long haul; he has hours of therapy a week, both for the physical injuries as well as the brain damage.  We are continuing to pray for a full recovery though we know it will take time and lots of care.

We cannot express how much the contributions have eased the burden of a seemingly impossible mountain to climb.  Thank you is not enough.  We continue to pray for all the friends and families of those that have been and continue to be so generous, and words cannot express our gratitude.

With deepest appreciation,

The Taylor Family

August 11, 2020

As many of you may have heard, on Friday, August 7th, 2020, Frank Taylor fell from the roof of a two story house while working for a client. Frank was immediately rushed to the hospital where it was later determined  he has suffered severe brain trauma, as well as multiple breaks and injuries.  Frank was placed in ICU and later lengthy surgery was performed to stabilize a broken femur and tailbone.  Frank remains in critical condition but has been placed in a step down unit until he further stabilizes. After a CAT scan and MRI, it has been determined that Frank's brain injuries, which include shearing of the brain and brain bleeds, will require intense, in-patient rehab in the hopes that he will recover fully; unfortunately, with brain trauma, this will be a long, slow process.  He will also require intense in-patient rehab for his broken femur and tailbone.  As you can imagine, the family is devastated, and they are constantly praying for him.

For everyone who knows Frank, they know a few things that stand true. Frank is hard working, family oriented, committed, stubborn, wildly funny, and loyal.  You always know where you stand with Frank, and when you're a friend, you are family.

We know this is going to be a long road to recovery for Frank, but we are all with him every step of the way. He will not go through any of this alone, and we know Frank has the support and unconditional love from all of his family and friends. We want to give not only the emotional support, but whatever financial support we can provide as a community for Frank and his family.

Any amount donated is appreciated to help support his medical bills and intense care he will need when he is able to leave the hospital. We thank you kindly for your generosity in advance and the constant prayers. These are hard times for all of us.

Please feel free to share as well.

With tremendous gratitude,

The Taylor Family
