Updated Frank Singh's Road to Recovery

UPDATE 06/06/23
We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Frank has to have a back surgery for two herniated disks. This was found after he bag a losing feeling on his thigh and sever pain. He is healing from that surgery in the hospital. Nephrologist, Neurologists and Hematologist are all very happy with Frank’s results. Frank needs to gain a little more strength to be able to be released. The feeling on his thigh is improving every day. He will be getting more Physical Therapy this week. Mom and Dad are looking forward to going and staying home !! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued prayers and support!

UPDATE 5/25/23
Frank is out of the hospital!! He feels liberated!! A few more treatments in Utah and they can go home to Idaho. We are so happy to have good news to share. Mom and Dad should be home in Idaho by June 6Th. This is sooner than we anticipated and we are thrilled! He will do the last 2 treatments near their home. Thank You all for your continuous prayers and we Thank our Lord . We all appreciate the prayers and support!
The generous donations have
helped pay for their housing in Utah as well as going toward their out of pocket medical costs. Our entire family is forever grateful to you all!!
UPDATE 05/24/23
Here is the latest update on our dad. He is currently on a different anti rejection medication, and he has been tolerating it well. His creatinine levels are slowly going down, which we are thankful for. The doctors are monitoring him closely, and he is in great spirits. The insurance company has approved him to be released to a nearby hotel. They are still 5 hours away from their home but we are grateful he can at least leave the hospital room! He will be able to go get his treatments every other day at the hospital. Getting some fresh air and sunshine will be really good for his spirits and for the healing process. Thank you all for your prayers, encouraging words, and contributions. This will help offset some of the cost of the hotel and medical bills. Taking some of that stress away will allow my mom and dad to concentrate on helping my dad heal. We love you all.

UPDATE: 5/22/24
Yesterday Dad had a chest port put in for the IV infusions of anti-rejection meds. He will start infusions ever other day for 30 days. Our hope is that he can be released to a hotel with Mom nearby, however their insurance may not approve this. Their out of pocket expenses continue to increase daily. Thank you for your prayers and support. We are truly humbled by all of it.

Dearest friends and kind-hearted individuals,
Renee and I come before you today to share the heartfelt story of our Father, Frank Singh, a courageous and prideful man battling through the challenging aftermath of a kidney transplant. Frank received a kidney donation back in April and now has been fighting kidney rejection at the Utah University Hospital and has been there over a week now. The uncertainty surrounding his condition has made this journey even more daunting.
During this arduous time, our Mom, Juanita Singh, has been by his side, showing unwavering support and care. She has traveled from their home state of Idaho to Utah to stay near dad and is bravely managing the exhausting and emotional rollercoaster of Dad’s medical situation. We believe it's our responsibility as a community to rally around this incredible couple and provide them with the support they desperately need.
Here's where we can make a difference. We kindly ask for your generous contributions to help ease the financial burden that Frank and Juanita are currently facing. Donations will directly assist them with essential expenses, including hotel accommodations, fuel costs, and day-to-day living expenses that have been piling up unexpectedly. They have Medicare and we all know that the extra cost of medications can turn out to be beyond expensive.
The cost of prolonged hospital stays, coupled with the added expenses of living away from home, can quickly become overwhelming for any family. With your support, we can alleviate the financial strain and allow Frank and Juanita to focus entirely on Frank's recovery without the added worry of mounting bills.
Your donations will make an immediate impact:
1. Hotel Expenses: Frank's wife, Juanita, has been staying at a hotel near the hospital to ensure she can be there for Frank whenever he needs her. By contributing, you'll help cover the cost of her accommodation, providing her with a comfortable and safe place to rest, regroup, and recharge.
2. Fuel Expenses: The frequent travel between the hospital and their home has been taking a toll on Juanita both emotionally and financially. Your support will help alleviate the burden of transportation costs, allowing Juanita to visit Frank without hesitation and ensuring that they remain connected during this critical time.
3. Day-to-Day Living Expenses: As the days turn into weeks, the expenses for daily necessities such as meals, groceries, and incidentals start to add up. Your contributions will help Frank and Juanita manage these expenses, ensuring they can focus on Frank's health and well-being without worrying about their financial stability.
By uniting as a community, we can show Frank and Juanita that they are not alone in their struggle. Together, we can provide them with the peace of mind and financial support necessary to navigate this challenging chapter in their lives.
Your generosity, no matter the amount, will make a significant impact on Frank's recovery and provide comfort to his devoted wife. Please consider donating to our GoFundMe campaign and sharing it with your friends, family, and social networks. Every contribution and share counts and will be deeply appreciated.
Let's come together and extend a helping hand to Frank and Juanita during their time of need. Your act of kindness will not only change their lives but also remind them that compassion and humanity exist in our world.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, prayers, and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Debbie Forbes and family, Renee Singh Boucher and family, and the Supporters of Frank Singh's Recovery
