Frank Sferrazza: A Veteran's Farewell
Donation protected
My name is Jim and I'm Frank Sferrazza's Stepson. We are trying to raise funds to help with the funeral home expenses for Frank Sferrazza's final wishes.
Frank died unexpectedly on May 1st, 2025, at the age of 71. He had been sick with different conditions for a few years, and fought his way back from each issue or symptom that put him in the hospital. The fights took their toll and his body could no longer muster on the weekend of April 26th. He died peacefully in the hospital.
Frank was born and raised in Queens, NY, in 1954. A big part of his adult years were spent in service to others. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and deployed to southeast Asia during the final years of the Vietnam war. After separating from the Army, he became a civil servant in New York City, working maintenance at a busy hospital.
Frank was also a family man. He had three sons (Frank Jr., Jordan, and Gabriel) during his first marriage. Tragically, his oldest son, Frankie, died last year, leaving behind Frank's Daughter-in-law and Granddaughter. Frank married my Mom, Linda, at the start of the 21st century. They eventually decided to move from Queens to central NY and the small town of Tillson where Frank's mother and brother Charlie lived. Linda and Frank have struggled financially for many years, and don't have enough to cover the costs of Frank's final wishes.
