Hi my name is Ashley Sekeres, on Monday morning February 24th 2020, around 6am my dad called 911 having a massive heart attack. We almost lost him. I was at a friends house when my mother called me with the news. We were in shock and packed up, took my brother out of school, and drove up to Bristol Connecticut where he works full time and lives. We live in Charlotte NC. I currently work at Subway making only $8.50 an hour only 4 hours a day...my mother cannot work a lot she has a lot of back problems so my dad was the main source of income. Since he lives up here in CT he pays for 2 houses and we seriously might lose everything due to his condition. He won’t be able to work for a very very long time, he will have to go to rehab. Right now i’m currently trying to get a job up here just to help out a bit whatever I can but it clearly won’t be enough as much as he was making as a machinist. Right now everything counts, no matter how much, we are taking advantage of everything that we can, but how can we take care of my daddy when he’s released out the hospital and can not afford to keep the lights on? The water bill? Gas in the car to take him to follow up appointments? His rehab to be able to walk again from laying in the hospital bed for who knows how long?! Literally everything counts!! He had to be transferred to another hospital with life star helicopter, that’s thousands of dollars...all his medical expenses are through the roof!!!! I can not afford to lose my dad...over not being able to accommodate his needs. He is very sick...bleeding in the stomach... might need a mechanical heart and heart transplant...on life support, breathing tube, heart only working about 5% with the machine doing 95% of the work. My dad is the most hard working man! Never wasn’t able to pay the bills he busts his tail every day 12 hour shifts...never complains. He’s a true dad. All he cares about is his family, my brother and I and his work. I’m just asking please help us out, I hate to do it but seeing my mom struggle to take over while my dad still doesn’t even know what day it is while being heavily sedated, completely breaks my heart. I don’t know what else to do. Please pray and keep my daddy in your thoughts...thank you ❤️
