Frank Rocco Memorial Fund

On September 10th, our dear family friend, Frank Rocco died after battling cancer.  Frank and his wife Marlene are beloved in our community of Topanga, CA as the original owners of Rocco's in the Canyon.  Anyone who ate at the old Rocco's remembers the wonderful garlic balls, perfect Caesar salad and classic New York pizza.  But what made Rocco' s really special was Frank. Everyone will remember his bright blue eyes, gregarious nature, and the stories he loved to tell.  Like the time he met Gina Lollobrigida, or when he tended bar for Liza Minnelli's birthday, or the day a man paid Frank to let him bust open a wall of Rocco's to take a painting by Charles Manson. Even a glimpse of Frank as he walked in from the kitchen would put a smile on your face.

With Frank's passing, many have asked "how can we help?"  Frank did not have life insurance and some of his expenses were not covered by medical insurance. In lieu of flowers or bringing meals,  you can be a support by donating  to this fund. It's hard enough for the Rocco family to mourn the loss of Frank. Together, we can ease Marlene's financial burden of medical and funeral costs. Your donation in any amount is deeply appreciated. 

Frank's daughter, Kristina Rocco Levy will receive all donations, pay off the expenses and any balance will be used for Marlene's living expenses. 

Frank worked hard all his life feeding the masses, delivering pizzas, and making sure everyone was taken care of.  Now it's time for us to take care of him.
