Help fund Frank Richmond's Arts Academy and home
Donation protected
Frank Richmond isn’t looking for a bail out. He’s been working full time as a substitute teacher for JCPS. Or he was, anyway, until the Corona virus took that opportunity away. Now he’s doing cleaning work at various closed schools. The point is…this brilliant guy - composer, pianist, organist, artist, writer and teacher…a guy who has decades of experience in a wide range of the arts, including musical theater…a guy who has collaborated with Kentucky Poet Laureates, Metropolitan Opera stars, and Grammy Award winners – is living out of a suitcase and working for $13 an hour sanitizing desks. Since he lost his job in January and had to sell his home at a major loss, Frank has been doing what he can to survive and support his 10 year-old son with Down Syndrome, but the truth is…Frank will never have enough money to own a home again without our help. He has a vision of establishing an arts academy and studio in the West End, where he can live, teach and create with the goal of creating an enriching, educational and inspiring community presence. Please help me help Frank achieve his dream.
