Frank Puglia- multiple myeloma diagnosis
Donation protected
A small donation can make a huge difference!
My dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in July after tripping over our dacshund and fracturing his spine. We were told that the cancer was more than likely confined to that area, and he started radiation therapy shortly after. After a bone marrow biopsy we were told that his cancer had spread to his blood. He has started immunotherapy and will undergo treatment for the next two months. He will need a stem cell transplant after, which will require him to be hospitalized for some time. The medical expenses are piling up as well as the cost of some of his medications.
My dad worked hard his entire life an agent for Newsday. He worked seven days a week and would give his last dollar to anyone who needed it. The stress of these burdens are impacting his ability to focus on getting better and his treatment. We know he will beat this terrible disease and look forward to the future with him being cancer free!
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and our sincere thank you in advance
Sincerely,
