Frank Pellegrino's Short Film: The Operator

My name is Frank Pellegrino - I'm a musician, screenwriter and artist from Marina Del Rey. I have been making music, short form videos, and taken on various acting roles for years, but I need your help to make my next film project, The Operator, a reality.

Logline: a club promoter's phone dies on the most important night of his life.

I know the LA Nightlife scene well, having been both a longtime customer and an employee. It's a world I've always found vibrant, entertaining filled with a rich reality of young people and all of the subtle nuisances that are cliche to LA. Its a modern story of a unique micro-culture that I think everyone can relate to and enjoy, to be filled with hope, drama, high-high anxiety as a promoter tries to hold onto his ‘star’ status while the world around comes crashing down.

The Operator is my first genuine narrative directorial debut. I have made other skits (featured on my Instagram), and a short film for the VisionWorld festival available here: A Paris Film.
