“I am a production designer in the film business. 5-29-2022 was my last day of employment.

I realized something was wrong and went to my ENT. Then was diagnosed with a lump in my throat. After all the initial scans and biopsies it was concluded cancerous. I received a second opinion from MD Anderson. After comparing treatment options I decided to stay in New Orleans and be treated at East Jefferson.

I started my chemo and radiation before Thanksgiving. I now just finished and am in recovery. I have had to turn down work through this 6 month period. I have had no income from film.

These funds will help cover all my out of pocket expenses. By the end of January I will have been out of work for 8 months.
