I’m reaching out to share the journey of Franco Siwady, who has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout his life. Born with sickle cell anemia, Franco has faced numerous challenges, including undergoing chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at a young age.

At 18, Franco moved from Palestine to Honduras, seeking a fresh start after family conflicts. Despite building a new life there, Franco had to leave due to threats from gangs, where he had worked as a law firm assistant.

Now, Franco is in Spain, seeking political asylum and facing new health challenges due to cardiac insufficiency caused by previous treatments. Franco’s dream is to find a stable place to live, continue his medical care, and pursue his education here in Bilbao.
