Friends, Family, Fraternity our dear friend and brother entered the chapter invisible after a long fought battle with cancer. Gil passed away on May 20, 2019. I have had several conversations with Minerva, Gil's sister, and I have been made aware that the family cannot cover the cost of his burial expenses.
Gil was a member of the armed forces however due to unforeseen circumstances his family has not been able to secure payment to cover the cost to pay for his funeral and gravestone. The financial strain of paying these costs out of pocket is the reason why we are requesting this amount. His bills continue to pile up and nothing has yet been done to cover them.
I would like to reach our goal by the 1st of September. All monies donated will be deposited directly into his sister's account to pay for his home-going expenses.
