Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am trying to raise money for the funeral expenses for my dad, Francisco Mendoza Jr. My dad was sick for most of his life but the last 10 years, his health and pain got worse. Regardless of being blind and losing his hearing he was so ambitious and hopeful. The severe pain that he was always in kept him bed ridden but he always cracked a joke and kept his spirits up. My dad was an amazing man, husband, father and grandfather. When my dad was in better health he was the type to drop everything to help out whoever needed him. He loved and spoiled his family. He was so funny but also very protective. He lived for us, he fought so hard to live even if that meant constant physical pain. In the end he went to the hospital for a fractured vertebrae in his spine. And although he could have done physical therapy to try and heal his spine he knew his body couldn't push through anymore. He made the tough choice to stop his dialysis treatment, come home and be put on hospice. He died peacefully at the age of 51 with his loved ones by his side. HE comforted us up until the very end. He was truly a one of a kind man that left a huge impact on every one that was lucky enough to meet him. My family could use all of our support in putting my dad to rest.
