Francis Slobodnik's Recovery
Donation protected
My dad, Francis Slobodnik, is finally coming home after a long stay in the hospital. After being admitted on Easter Sunday due to high fevers and partial paralysis, he spent over four weeks in the hospital, first at St Francis in Topeka then at KU Med in Kansas City, unable to receive any visits whatsoever due to COVID-19 precautions. He was diagnosed with a Staph Infection which had spread to his heart. He is continuing his recovery from his partial paralysis at home starting Monday, however will require around the clock care for at least six weeks. On top of all the work that will be missed, the expenses for this care will be high.
Married forty-four years to our amazing mom Cathy and father to us eleven children, he is proud grandpa to thirty grandchildren, with four more on the way! He has selflessly dedicated his life to them as well as to his community and the spread of the Faith, especially in Our Lady of Fatima.
Thank you in advance for your continued prayers and support during this trying time for Dad and our whole family. Please be assured of our prayers for you and your loved ones.
God bless you and Mary keep you!
