Francis' Legacy

In order to preserve the memory of Francis, this account was made for the grieving family he has left behind - his wife Sheryl and their 2 kids, Sam and Callie.

Dr. Rene Francis C. Dilag, a truly remarkable person, has earned his angel wings last February 8, 2022 at the young age of 42. His sudden passing came as a shock to everyone around him.

Francis has touched countless of lives - from his undergraduate, medical studies and ER Medicine training in the Philippines, to his new life in the United States - completing his Internal Medicine Residency in Harlem Hospital Center, New York and eventually settling down in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his young family to practice in Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Francis was a cherished and beloved son, a doting uncle to his nieces and nephews, and a loyal and caring friend who always thought first about others. He was a selfless person with a genuine heart, a fully devoted husband to Sheryl, and a loving and patient father to Sam and Callie.
