This gofundme is our my mother, Francine Friedman. On February 9th, Francine was in an accident that left her with multiple broken ribs, 2 pelvis fractures and a broken breast plate, with internal bleeding. She is still in the ICU after 8 days, and is in and out of improvement. Currently the biggest issue is her not being able to retain enough oxygen, and between her having stage 4 COPD and broken ribs it’s very difficult for her to breath. We will continue to keep her in the ICU while she is stabilizing but we do need some help. Her hospital bills are mostly paid for by her insurance, but we need to move her out of her house because she can not walk upstairs, and currently we are all traveling back and forth from other cities, and her son is here from Hawaii until further notice. My mom also takes care of our stepdad who is epileptic, and can’t take care of himself without help. They are both retired, but without my mom being home this also falls on us to be in both places right now.

At this point, anything helps for us. We appreciate all the love and prayers that we’ve received and will continue to update everyone while this journey proceeds. Thank you
