Young-onset Alzheimer's disease is an uncommon form of dementia that affects people younger than age 65. The condition is also called early-onset Alzheimer's disease.
About 110 of every 100,000 adults between ages 30 and 64 have young-onset Alzheimer's.
Francine was officially diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s at Duke in 2023, but she has been fighting this disease for much longer. She hasn’t worked since 2021. In order to give her the best specialized care she deserves, while she fights this terrible disease, she will transition into a care facility.
There aren’t many resources for people living with early onset Alzheimer’s, but she deserves the best. The average monthly cost is $9500-$11000.
Many have asked how they can help; donate if you can. If you can’t donate you can help by sharing the link.
